Switch up pizza night with my family’s favorite air fryer pizza recipe. Ready in 10 minutes, you’re guaranteed a crispy, golden crust and bubbly melted cheese every. single. time!

Air Fryer Pizza is the quickest pizza fix.
As most of you are well aware, I have a mild obsession with my air fryer. I’ve been testing new recipes left and right, but until now, I had never tried making air-fried pizzas.
I’ll save you the suspense and tell you they turned out PERFECT. It’s the quickest pizza recipe you’ll find (not including my air fryer pizza rolls), and it’s also the most foolproof. The crust turns out crispy yet soft, and the toppings are always perfectly cooked.

Key Ingredients
- Pizza dough. Use any store-bought pizza dough OR make my 2-ingredient Greek yogurt dough. I like to make my own because I can make a half-portion if I’m cooking for one, and I know exactly how it will turn out.
- Pizza sauce. I use my Pomodoro sauce, but any marinara sauce or pizza sauce will work.
- Cheese. I used fresh Buffalo mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese for a salty flavor.
- Fresh basil. To serve.
How to make pizza in the air fryer
I’ve included step-by-step photos below to make this recipe easy to follow at home. For the full printable recipe instructions and ingredient quantities, scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

Shape the dough. Lightly flour a kitchen surface and roll out the dough to around 8-9 inches wide or to the size of your air fryer basket.

Add toppings. Spread pizza sauce over the top of the dough, reserving 1/4 inch around the sides. Add the cheese.

Air fry. Place a circle of parchment paper in the basket and place the pizza on top. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until the crust is crisp and the cheese has melted.

Serve. Slice and serve with fresh basil.
Arman’s recipe tips
- Adjust the cooking times. Everyone’s air fryer is different, so yours may need a bit longer to cook. If you’re worried, check it at 8 minutes, then every 2 minutes until it’s done.
- Leave some parchment paper sticking out. So you can carefully pull the pizza out using the parchment paper.
- Don’t leave the pizza in the basket. The heat from the basket can burn the bottom of the pizza crust, so gently pull it out once it’s done cooking.
- If you’re adding toppings, sprinkle a layer of cheese on top of them. Sometimes the toppings can fly off the pizza in the air fryer. If you add a layer of cheese on top, it’ll melt and anchor the toppings.
- Keep the pizzas warm. When I’m making multiple pizzas, I’ll store the cooked ones in the oven at its lowest setting so they keep warm.
